The Money Flow Index (MFI) is RSI with volume. Typical price and volume set money flow, then a 0 to 100 oscillator. Readings above 80 are commonly overbought. Readings below 20 are commonly oversold.
MFI rising with price confirms buying pressure. MFI falling while price rises is a divergence worth a second look. Because volume is in the formula, thin sessions can make the line jumpy.
In a mix, use MFI as a volume-weighted oversold or overbought gate beside a trend or breakout signal, so the entry needs both price and flow.
