About
Know Sure Thing (KST) sums four rate-of-change streams, each smoothed by its own moving average, into one oscillator plus a signal line. It is built for medium to longer-term momentum turns.
A KST cross above its signal line is a momentum turn up. A cross below is a turn down. Because four ROC lengths are blended, the line is slower than a single ROC or RSI.
Add KST to a mix when you want fewer timing signals on a daily or weekly chart. Keep a trend filter if you only want those crosses in the direction of the larger move.
