About
The Commodity Channel Index (CCI) is a momentum-based oscillator used to help determine when an investment vehicle has been overbought or oversold. It measures the current price level relative to an average price level over a given period of time. CCI typically oscillates above and below a zero line, with readings above +100 indicating overbought conditions and readings below -100 indicating oversold conditions.
